About the Event
On June 7th, 2019 from 10am-12pm Maryland Heroin Awareness Advocates will welcome the Opioid Spoon Project Honor Tour to Frederick County, MD.
Our mission is to raise awareness and break the stigma of addiction.
Please join us to honor those lost by signing their names on this 800 pound spoon. This tour has been to many locations along the eastern shore, including the FDA building and Purdue Pharmaceutical Headquarters. The point is to make these companies and agencies accept accountability for their part in the opioid crisis.
Let's support the cause and make this the largest attended event yet. This will be a day of education, speakers, resources and reflection. We have access to the park all day so we will stay even longer if the crowd hangs out.
